About this unit
A wire and cable detector traces conductors that are buried, run inside a wall or laid under a surface. In search work it is used to find command wires and hidden cable runs; in facility work, to locate services before anything is cut into. Depth performance and discrimination depend on the ground and on what else is buried nearby, so the specification starts with the site rather than with a range figure.
