About this unit
An under vehicle search system replaces a mirror with a scanner set into or laid across the road surface, which captures the whole underside as the vehicle drives over it. The image can be compared against a previous scan of the same vehicle, so a change is flagged rather than relying on an operator noticing one. Installation type, throughput and integration with number plate recognition or a barrier are all specified at order.
