About this unit
A knitted service sweater, worn as a mid-layer over a shirt or under a field jacket. Ribbed cuffs and hem hold the shape after repeated wear and washing, which is what separates a service garment from a commercial one - the sweater has to still fit correctly at the end of a season. Knit weight is the decision that matters: a light knit layers under outerwear, a heavy one is worn as the outer garment in cold weather.
