About this unit
High pressure homogenisation forces liquid through a narrow gap at pressure, shattering fat globules so they stay dispersed instead of separating in storage. It is the step that decides shelf life and mouthfeel in milk, beverages and plant drinks, and it does the same job in pharmaceutical and fine chemical production. Two pressure classes are built, and the choice between them is a product decision rather than a capacity one: lighter dispersions settle at the lower class, while fine emulsions and long-life products need the higher. Within each class the range steps up through several frame sizes, with motor rating and machine weight climbing steeply as throughput rises. Inlet, homogenising and outlet bores are matched to the frame. State the product, the pressure your process specification calls for and the hourly volume, and the frame follows from those three.
