About this unit
An automatic vacuum packing machine used across the food, pharmaceutical, aquatic, chemical and electronic industries. Removing the air from a pack stops oxidation and mould, and protects the contents against corrosion and moisture, which together extend the storage life of the product well beyond what a sealed but air-filled pack achieves. For food that shelf life gain is the whole commercial case. For electronic and precision components the driver is different: it is corrosion and moisture ingress during shipping and storage rather than spoilage, which is why the same machine serves both markets. The machine runs the vacuum and seal cycle automatically rather than under operator control.
