About this unit
An automatic packaging machine for quantitative filling of pellets, covering rubber, plastic, fertiliser, feed, chemical, grain, building material and metal pellets. The range of materials listed places this machine outside food packing despite where it sits in the catalogue. Rubber and metal pellets are abrasive and heavy; fertiliser is corrosive. Equipment built to handle those is specified differently from equipment built for grain or snack food, in both the contact materials and the feed mechanism. Filling is quantitative, so each pack is made to a set weight or volume rather than by fill level.
