About this unit
The 6 tonne tandem drum roller is the standard asphalt machine for road surfacing rather than patching. Its two drums cover a full lane width in fewer passes, and the extra weight over a 3 tonne unit allows it to work thicker binder and base layers as well as wearing course. Mechanical drive keeps maintenance straightforward. Drum width, spray system and cab are set against the paving specification at order.
