About this unit
Hydrostatic drive combined with the elevated sprocket arrangement, at 240 horsepower with an 8.1 cubic metre blade and an operating weight of 25,500 kilogrammes. Hydrostatic transmission is the point of difference. Speed is infinitely variable and each track is driven independently, so the machine can counter-rotate and can hold a precise blade speed through a cut, which a torque converter machine cannot. That makes it the choice for finish grading, slot dozing and work where the operator is shaping rather than shifting, and the elevated sprocket keeps the drivetrain out of the debris while doing it.
