About this unit
Elevated-sprocket dozer at 230 hp, 23,800 kg, 8.4 m³ blade, hydraulic drive. Raising the drive sprocket above the track frame lifts the final drive clear of the ground and out of the impact and abrasion path, and isolates it from blade shock - which is why this layout is standard on mining and quarry dozers that work rock all day. Largest blade of the 230 hp builds in this range.
