About this unit
An 85 tonne crawler crane covers heavy foundation and erection work. Crawler cranes are normally chosen for duty cycle rather than peak capacity: where a crane will make hundreds of repetitive lifts, the ability to travel between them without rigging down determines the programme. Configuration is specified at order and the machine is manufactured to the tender schedule where one is issued.
