About this unit
At 5 tonnes the wheel loader moves from general site work into sustained production: quarry face loading, aggregate stockpiling and continuous truck loading where the machine is expected to keep a crusher or a haul cycle fed. Machines used this way are specified around wear rather than around peak output. Bucket liners and edges, tyre compound and the guarding on the underside all determine what the machine costs to run over a year in abrasive material. We manufacture to the buyer's own schedule, and quote against a tender's technical annexure where one is supplied.
