About this unit
A 20 m³ compactor truck is the largest collection body in common municipal use, specified for long routes, commercial collection and transfer haulage where the vehicle travels a distance between the round and the disposal point. At this size the chassis specification matters as much as the body: axle configuration, suspension and braking all have to suit a vehicle that spends much of its shift loaded and on the road.
