About this unit
A 5 m³ garbage truck without compaction is specified where waste is bulky rather than compressible, or where the route is short enough that a compaction body would not pay for itself. Rubble, garden waste and market waste all fall into that group. It is a simpler vehicle with less to maintain, which on a municipal fleet with limited workshop support is often the deciding factor.
