About this unit
The hydraulic drive version of the 160 HP swamp dozer gives independent control of each track. That allows counter-rotation, so the machine turns within its own length, and it allows very fine blade control at low speed. On soft ground both matter: a machine that can turn tightly disturbs less bearing surface, and fine control is what stops a blade digging in where the surface will not carry it. The cost of that control is a more complex drivetrain, so it suits buyers with access to hydraulic service support rather than remote self-maintained fleets. Track width, blade, cab and compliance are all configured to the buyer's specification and manufactured to it, including against a tender's own annexure.
