About this unit
A side-opening tactical vest at 6.5 kg, built for wearers who put it on and take it off repeatedly through a shift rather than once a day. The side opening is the reason for the weight distribution: the carrier breaks at the flank instead of over the head, so it can be donned over equipment and removed quickly if a casualty needs treating.
Protection covers front, back and sides, and the vest is tested to defeat .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, 9 mm and .40 S&W full metal jacket rounds. A 360-degree MOLLE platform is detachable, so the same carrier serves a patrol loadout and a low-profile one.
Detachable shoulder, collar and throat, bicep, groin and kidney sections are available and are usually specified separately against the role. Test certificates accompany tender supply; tell us the standard your procurement documents name and we will quote against it.
