About this unit
A 500-litre stainless workbench refrigerator, 1,500 × 760 × 800 mm, drawing 350 W on R134a with fan cooling.
The counter height and depth are the specification: this unit is a work surface that happens to be refrigerated, so it goes into the line where preparation happens rather than against a back wall. 1.5 m gives two working positions.
It runs at two settings — chill at around 2°C, or minus 18 to minus 22°C for frozen — so the same cabinet serves a prep bench or a frozen hold depending on how the kitchen is laid out. R134a is the long-established refrigerant for medium-temperature work and is still the simplest to service in most markets. Thicker stainless than the usual commercial grade, which matters on a cabinet that gets leaned on and wheeled.
