About this unit
A vibrating de-oiling machine for the snack food industry, built in stainless steel with a polished surface finish and supplied in silver. De-oiling sits directly after frying and has more effect on a snack product than its simple action suggests. Surface oil carried through to packing shortens shelf life, softens texture and pushes the fat declaration on the label upwards; vibration removes it mechanically without the product being handled or pressed. The polished finish is the functional detail here rather than a cosmetic one, since a smooth surface sheds oil instead of holding it and can be cleaned down properly between production runs.
