About this unit
An upright kitchen freezer, 500 litres in a 640 mm footprint, holding minus 18 to minus 22°C on R404a at 550 W.
The dimensions are the reason to choose it: 640 × 730 mm floor area for 500 litres of frozen storage, at 1,950 mm tall. In a kitchen where floor space is the constraint and ceiling height is not, an upright holds what a chest holds in less than half the area — and everything in it is reachable without digging.
R404a and fan cooling for even temperature top to bottom, which is what an upright needs and a chest does not. Heavier stainless than standard commercial grade. If this is going somewhere with an unstable supply, say so with the enquiry: the starting current, not the running load, is what trips an undersized generator.
