About this unit
An ice cream display freezer, 1,030 × 1,130 × 1,250 mm, 500 litres at minus 18 to minus 22°C, fan cooled on R404a at 850 W.
The temperature band is the specification that matters here and it is tighter than it looks. Ice cream scoops properly at around minus 14°C and stores safely below minus 18°C; a cabinet that cannot hold the bottom of that range lets product soften and re-freeze, and the texture never recovers. Fan cooling holds it evenly across the display rather than only near the evaporator.
At just over a metre square it is a counter-end or aisle unit for a parlour, café or forecourt shop. 850 W is a real continuous load in a hot climate — size the circuit for it rather than putting it on a shared socket.
