About this unit
A labeller that applies OPP film using hot melt adhesive rather than self-adhesive stock. The economics are the reason: OPP film on a reel with hot melt glue costs a fraction of pre-gummed label stock over a production run, which is why high-volume beverage bottling uses it and short runs generally do not. The machine needs its working conditions respected - ambient temperature between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius, humidity to 90 per cent - because hot melt behaviour changes with both, and the nozzle must sit within 30 millimetres of the surface it is spraying. Confirm your bottle diameter, the film width and your line speed.
