About this unit
Direct moulded sole boot: the sole is formed and bonded to the upper in one operation rather than stitched or cemented on, which removes the seam that usually fails first and makes the boot cheaper to produce in volume. That is why DMS construction is standard for general duty, drill and marching issue. The trade is that a moulded sole cannot be resoled - the boot is replaced rather than repaired. Specify the size curve, upper material, lining and quantity.
