About this unit
A 20 metre aerial working vehicle is the largest class that still operates as a normal road vehicle. It is used for high-mast lighting, building maintenance and utility work at height, where the alternative is scaffolding or a hired platform. Beyond outreach and platform load, the practical question is set-up time: a vehicle that takes twenty minutes to deploy is unsuitable for work that involves many short stops.
