About this unit
Blanching sets colour, halts the enzyme activity that causes off-flavours in storage, and softens produce enough for the stages that follow. This blanching machine is built in stainless steel throughout for that duty, where hot water and steam are constant and corrosion resistance is not optional. The machine is specified for straightforward operation and consistent output over a long service life, with dimensionally accurate construction and simple installation. Stainless steel construction also means the unit can be cleaned down to the standard food production requires between batches. It is supplied new and packed in a wooden case for export.
