About this unit
Disc plough. Where a mould board plough slices and inverts with a fixed body, a disc plough rolls through the soil, which lets it work in hard, dry, sticky or root-filled ground that would stop or break a mould board. It does not invert as cleanly - the trade-off for being able to work at all in difficult conditions. Specify the number of discs, their diameter, the tractor horsepower and whether mounted or trailed.
