Maize Corn Thresher
A Maize Corn Thresher separates grain from harvested stalks by feeding cut crop into a rapidly rotating drum that beats the heads against a perforated concave screen, then sieves and fans the mix to leave clean grain. It is used after manual or machine cutting where a self-propelled combine is not used, common for wheat, paddy and other cereal or pulse crops. Drum speed and concave clearance are adjusted to the crop to avoid grain cracking or incomplete threshing.
